How do I Restore A Blog Post [or article]
Once you have Warely’s Backups & Recovery app installed, you are instantly protected against blog, article, and page deletion [the rest of your content is safe as well, but for the purpose of this article — blogs!]
Data Den > Articles > Current Articles and Blogs
At the bottom of the page, there is a blue button to ‘sync Shopify blogs and articles’. If the blog or article deletion occurred within the last hour, you’ll want to go ahead and sync with the most recent version of your store.
Warely’s Backups and Recovery syncs daily and hourly, as well as when most content adjustments happen. You can also force a manual sync whenever your heart desires.
Data Den > Articles > Current Articles and Blogs > Deleted Articles and Blogs >
Switch from “current articles and blogs” to “deleted articles and blogs”. Here’s where we keep a list of previous versions and deleted articles and blogs from your Shopify store.
Once you’re viewing your deleted articles and blogs, there will be a green button to “View Article” on the right side of your page. Once you click on this, you’ll be brought to the stored version of your article or blog.
You are good to go!
Data Den > Articles > Current Articles and Blogs > Deleted Articles and Blogs > View Article
On the right hand side of your page, there will be a green button to ‘Restore Article’. You should receive a green notification that your article has been successfully restored, and it should now be viewable on your Shopify backend as well as your web store again.
